"Double Smoked Chili Dogs"

Well, this was a good one for the opening Sunday of the NFL season.  We cooked the family recipe chili and placed it in a dutch oven.  Once there, we lowered the dutch oven into the smoker and simmered it to a bunch of dancing hickory chunks.  Later, we smoked Nathan's hot dogs right above the simmering, smokey chili until they were busting the natural wrappers.  We plated some real tasty chili dogs cooked entirely on the Mosh Pit smoker.  We topped the dogs with gobs of chili and dropped a stack of grated cheese and a small spoonful of sour cream on top... Walla!  A Mosh Pit BBQ viewers choice and the official entry into Ballistic BBQ's annual You Tube cooking contest.
